4th Grade PRIDE: Students had one project left to do on the Lego WeDo.  When they finished, they created their own design using any of the Lego pieces available.  We had some really cool designs.  They loved being able to make their own.

3rd Grade PRIDE: Same as 4th grade.  The boys were gone to the baseball game, so the girls designed a golf cart and a golfer out of the Lego sets.

Pre-K through 2nd Grades gone to Chuck E. Cheese.

National Honor Society came in to vote for officers throughout the day.  We have a tie for two offices.

Between returning things to students, paperwork, and miscellaneous end-of-the-year stuff, my day was full enough!


1st hr. 4th Handwriting/Spelling- Standard 3.6. Practiced writing i, t, c, & e. Discussed character quotes- Last Week of School Keeping Active & Choices. Students did activities on their laptops.

I didn’t have Kdg.- 2nd P.E. today. They were gone on their end of school trip.

2nd hr. I had Coach Brown’s 4th grade class. They did IXL math on their laptops.

3rd hr. 3rd P.E.- Took them down to the lower playground.

6th hr. 4th P.E.- Basketball Challenges.

7th hr. 4th S.S.- Students did activities on their laptops.

first hour-Government- Finishing up Semester Tests for those absent day of test.  Students given a consumable (word scramble).  Reviewed consumable and classed was challenged to American History trivia.

second hour-U.S. History- Semester Tests were given.

fourth hour-Democracy- Semester Tests were given.

fifth hour- U.S. History-Handed out letter-tile consumable to students over Social Darwinism.

sixth hour-Alt.Ed.

seventh hour-Alt.Ed.

Wacky Olympics for Pre-K through 8th in the a.m.

National Honor Society met during lunch to go over the NHS Constitution, service hours, and officers.  Students will vote tomorrow during the day by secret ballot.

4th Grade Children’s Music Journey: Students are working hard to finish all they can this week!

The students had a lot of fun today with the Wacky Olympics!

We reviewed our letter/sounds from A-Y. I introduced letter/sound Zz. I read Look Out Kindergarten Here I Come, we did a worksheet counting dinosaurs and writing the correct number in the box.

2nd Hour – Fund. Admin. Tech:  The students created a powerpoint about this past school year using all of the objectives learned in powerpoint ’07

3rd Hour – Accounting I:  Semester test.

4th Hour – Personal Financial Literacy: some students had to make up the test over chapter 13 and 14.  All students filled out a job application worksheet and watched a presentation over job searching.

5th Hour – Accounting II: Semester test.

6th Hour – Yearbook:     Individual page assignments

7th Hour – Fund. Admin. Tech: Semester test.
