1st hour Clothing students began research on  the history of fashion. PASS Language ARts – pg 100- Standard4.1,4.2

3rd hour Chemistry of Foods students practiced methods for preserving food. (students worked in groups to make  jelly and dehydrate meat -jerky)PASS Chemistry – pg 214 – Standard 1.3

4th and 5th hour FACS 1 Students worked in groups to prepare a bread or pasta product.  Groups not in the Lab evaluated pasta and rice recipes.

6th hour FACS 2 Students played a financial quiz game. Quiz topics included banking facts, telephone scams, credit.

7th hour Family Living students -one group prepared ice-cream  while the remaining students identified and analyzed the food guide pyramid. PASS Health & Safety- pg 372- Standard 1.1,2.1Language ARTs pg 98. Standard 1.3,1.5
