Reading we started with the question of the day.  We reviewed high-frequency words.  We used common spelling patterns to build and read words.  We read and wrote common words families.  We recognized spelling patterns.  (2.1b,use long vowel sounds)We used story details and what one knows from real life to make inferences.  (5.2a, make inferences in fiction) We reviewed robust vocabulary and demonstrate knowledge of word meaning.  We identified multiple-meaning words.  (3.2,understand synonyms/antonyms/homonyms) In grammar we used contractions correctly in sentences.  We told what contractions mean.

Math we read and wrote numbers as thousands, hundreds, tens, and ones.  We did practice pages 405-406.
