2nd Hour – Fund. Admin.  Tech:   The students worked on Microsoft Excel Ch. 2 steps through the chapter covering the topics of Formulas, Functions, Formatting, and Web Queries.

3rd Hour – Accounting I:    Chapter 9-4 worksheets – completing a special journal for purchases made on account and returns and allowances.

4th Hour – Personal Financial Literacy: Module 5.1 and worksheet over savings vs. investing

5th Hour – Accounting II:  Basketball boys gone to ballgame

6th Hour – Yearbook:     continued to work on page design and making images transparent.

1st hr. 4th Handwriting/Spelling- Standard 3.5 A-D, 3.6. Practiced writing the letters s- z. Discussed character quote- Gossip Choosing What’s Right. W.S. 82-83 was due. Test over words with the el sound. I have 2 students who will retake tomorrow.

2nd hr. 1st P.E.- Capture the Ball, Duck Duck Goose.

3rd hr. 3rd P.E.- Basketball, British Warmup Tag.

4th hr. 2nd P.E.-Practiced dribbling a basketball. Shooting contest between Ms. Wise’s class & Mrs. Hall’s class.

5th hr. Kdg. P.E.- Enjoyed the beautiful weather. We went outside.

6th hr. 4th P.E.- same as 3rd P.E.

7th hr. 4th S.S.- Standard 4: 1-3. Standard 5: 1-3. Reviewed Unit 3 notes. Test will be tomorrow.

Reading we started with the question of the day.  We reviewed high-frequency words.  We reviewed that abbreviation is a short way to write a word.  We recognized and read abbreviations.  We matched words to their abbreviations.  We used /ou/ou, ow, and other known letter sounds to spell and write words.  We identified the plot of a story.  We identified the problem and solution in a story. (5.3a, retell narratives) We used prior knowledge and story clues to make and explain predictions.  (5.1b, use prereading strategies) We identified and described the setting of a story.  (5.2a,make inferences in fiction) We reviewed robust vocabulary and demonstrated knowledge of word meaning.  In grammar we recognized and wrote present tense action verbs in sentences.

Math we rewrote a number sentence in vertical form and subtracted.  We did practice pages 293-294.  (2.c. solve 2-digit subtraction problems)  Social Studies we watched an united streaming video over our world.  We looked at our oceans and continents.

Read today’s character quote, positive attitude.

1st & 3rd hour: 7th grade Reading

Bell work was Facts 14. We read I Am of the Earth & Early Song, discussed & reviewed.
