Reading we started with the question of the day.  We reviewed high-frequency words.  We recognized the short vowel /e/sound of ea.  We read words with ea and other known letter sounds.  (2.1b,use short vowels)  We identified the setting of a story.  We analyzed setting elements.  (7.2, analyze/evaluate information)  We identified the purpose of reading such as to follow directions.  We developed robust vocabulary through discussing a literature selection.  In grammar we recognized that adjectives for senses describe how something looks, smells, tastes, sounds, or feels.

Math we used a hundred number chart to count back to subtract.  We did practice pages 275-276.
