1st hr. 4th Handwriting/Spelling- Standard 3.5 A-D, 3.6. Practiced writing the letter o. Discussed character quote- Respect Cooperation. I gave retake test to several students. Took students to the library. When we got back, students read books silently.

2nd hr. 1st P.E.- The Sharks are Coming. PASS for the week. Standard 1: 1-2, 4.  Standard 2: 1-4. Standard 3: 1-3. Standard 4: 1, 4. Standard 5: 2-4. Standard 6: 1-3. Standard 7: 1-4.

3rd hr. 3rd P.E.- Took 3rd to the “We Really Shine” program. Then took them back to class, & they watched a movie for 15 minutes. PASS for the week. Standard 1: 1, 5, 9-10. Standard 2: 1. Standard 3: 1-4. Standard 4: 1. Standard 5: 1-3. Standard 6: 1-3. Standard 7: 1-3.

4th hr. 2nd P.E.- Took 2nd & 3rd to the gym. Let them have free time. PASS for the week. Standard 1: 1-2. Standard 2: 1, 4-5, 9, 13. Standard 3: 1, 5. Standard 4: 1. Standard 5: 1-4. Standard 6: 1-3. Standard 7: 1-3.

5th hr. Kdg. P.E.- Dead Ants. PASS for the week. Standard 1: 1-2. Standard 3: 1-2. Standard 4:

6th hr. 4th P.E.- British Warmup  Tag. PASS for the week. Standard 1: 1, 5. Standard 2: 3, 5. Standard 3: 3. Standard 4: 2-3. Standard 5: 1-2. Standard 6: 1-3. Standard 7: 1-3.

7th hr. 4th S.S.- Standard 5: 5. Handed back & went over all the assignments from this week. Students who had all assignments completed got free time.

Reading:
Journal Writing Day:  We’ve been reading the book, The Most Perfect Spot about a little boy that has chosen “the most perfect spot” to take his mother for a picnic.  The children wrote about where they would like to have a picnic.  We also read book # 7 Fox Can Fix It.

Skills reviewed: Identifying the medial sound in words, segmenting, blending sounds/letters together to make words.

We started with the question of the day.  We reviewed high-frequency words.  We identified the syllable pattern VC/V in words.  We read words with the syllable pattern VC/V.  We reviewed spelling words and took our test.  We used titles, table of contents, and headings to locate information in nonfiction text.  (7.1d, use book parts to locate information) We reviewed robust vocabulary and took our comprehension test “The Life of George Washington Carver.”  In grammar we recognized and wrote words that compare in sentences.

Math we took our chapter 14 test over “Practice and Apply 2-Digit Addition.”

Making patterns

Math:  We played Math Bingo for about 30 minutes, then we did a lesson on angles.  We learned how to use a protractor and measure angles. St 4:1 We went to the We Really Shine program at 10:00.

Reading:  Test over story

English: finished math, reading, spelling

Science:  Test over Ch 9

Social Studies:  worked on assignments for Ch 9 Test Monday.

2nd Hour – Fund. Admin.  Tech:   The students worked on Lab #2. Annual Sales Analysis Worksheet.  The students developed a table and a stacked column chart based on data that was given to them.

3rd Hour – Accounting I:     Went over the Ch 8 test with the class and then the students completed a case study about job duty segregation.

4th Hour – Personal Financial Literacy:  completed a worksheet computing interested earned using different interest rates and terms.

5th Hour – Accounting II:  completed worksheet for Ch. 12-4, calculating payroll checks.

6th Hour – Yearbook:    Worked on individual projects such as page design, image upload, adjusting image resolution, snapshots, scanning photos, and ect.

7th Hour – Fund. Admin. Tech:  The students worked on Lab #2. Annual Sales Analysis Worksheet.  The students developed a table and a stacked column chart based on data that was given to them.

February 3-4 sick days

Art I- I gave a demonstration on how to create the illusion of volume. Students drew examples of volume.

Pass Objectives: 1.1, 1.2, 3.1, 3.3, 3.4, 4.2, 4.3

Art III- Students answered questions and critiqued their one point perspective painting. They researched two point perspective images, emailed the images to me and began preliminary sketches.

Art History- Students took a quiz on the Renaissance in the North and finished watching the DVD on the High Renaissance.
