1st hr. -4th Handwriting/Spelling- Standard 3.6. Practiced writing the letter z. Discussed character quote- Perseverance Overcoming Obstacles. Retake/Makeup test for several students. Students who had all assignments did activities on aaaspell.

8:45-9:25- 1st P.E.- Took 1st grade to the “We Really Shine” program. PASS for the week. Standard 1: 1-2, 4. Standard 2: 1-5. Standard 3: 1-3. Standard 4: 1, 4. Standard 5: 2-4. Standard 6: 1-3. Standard 7: 1-4.

9: 25- 10:00 -3rd P.E.- Jail Dodgeball. PASS for the week. Standard 1: 1, 5, 9-10. Standard 2: 1. Standard 3: 1-4. Standard 4: 1. Standard 5: 1-4. Standard 6: 1-3. Standard 7: 1-3.

10:05- 10:40- 2nd P.E.- Jail Dodgeball. PASS for the week. Standard 1: 1-2. Standard 2: 1, 4-5, 9, 13. Standard 3: 1, 5. Standard 4: 1. Standard 5: 1-4. Standard 6: 1-3. Standard 7: 1-3.

11:25-11:45 – Kdg. P.E.- Free time. PASS for the week. Standard 1: 1-2. Standard 3: 1-2. Standard 4:

11:50-12:15- Took 4th to lunch.

12:15-1:00- 4th P.E.- PASS for the week. Standard 1: 1, 5. Standard 2: 3, 5. Standard 3: 3. Standard 4: 2-3. Standard 5: 1-2. Standard 6: 1-3. Standard 7: 1-3.

Early Release Day. School let out @ 1:oo!

2nd Hour – Fund. Admin.  Tech:   The students worked on Lab #2;  creating formulas, formatting cells, creating a horizontal bar chart on a different worksheet in the workbook and moving tabs.

3rd Hour – Accounting I:    worked on Ch 9 Study Guide.  Test will be Tuesday.

4th Hour – Personal Financial Literacy:  completed activity 6.1 over different options for retirement accounts.

5th Hour – Accounting II:  helped me count money, roll change, and make a deposit.

6th Hour – Yearbook:     worked on theme ideas

We attended the Kgtn. We Really Shine program. Afterwards we discussed our dental health since February is Dental Health Month. I demonstrated on a BIG TEETH how to properly brush our teeth then we read our Clifford Magazine titled ABC’s of Clean Teeth and the students had to cirlcle the things that were healthy for our teeth. After lunch we worked on our H book and finished to take home.

Reading we started with the question of the day.  We identified V/CV and VC/V syllable patterns.  We read words with these syllable patterns.  We took our spelling test.  We reviewed robust vocabulary and took our comprehension test over “Serious Farm.”  In grammar we used correct subject verb agreement.

Math we took our chapter 16 test “Practice and Apply 2-Digit Subtraction.”

We practiced writing our numbers 0- 10 in shaving cream today. I used a powerpoint from youtube with the song I Can Write My Numbers and the students watched then wrote the number in the shaving cream ( they had so much fun with this activity). We made our spirit shakers for the afternoon pep assembly which took up our entire morning. After lunch we reviewed letter/sound Hh and visited the library. We attended the pep assemby before time to go home.

Math:  We worked on IXL B14 Perimeter of objects

Reading:  Test

Science: Test Ch 11  Some gave their powerpoints and most are working on this weeks work.

We went to the We Really Shine Program at 9:00 and didn’t get back until nearly 10:00.  Today is early release day. Also I had several absent for the stock show at Poteau.

Middle School Science

6th Grade
Objective: During this hour, we had the we really shine program.

7th Grade
Objective: During 1st hour, the students looked at their experiments and made observations. They watched a short video about plants and how they grow. During 2nd hour, they looked at their experiments and made observations and then we went to the “We Really Shine” program.
PASS: Diversity of Life

8th Grade
Objective: I had a different group during this hour so I didn’t have the 8th grade today!
