  • Evergreen Teams started mini-show production in teams of 3-4

3rd Hour – Accounting I:    reviewed/graded Ch. 7 tests. Began Ch. 8-1 over recording adjusting entries.

4th Hour – Personal Financial Literacy:  Completed Module 1.4 over ” Managing your Income”

5th Hour – Accounting II: worked on  Automated Accounting “Eddie Ortega, Disc Jockey” business simulation.

6th Hour – Yearbook:   The yearbook staff worked on page designs, image resolution, scanning photos, and snapshots

7th Hour – Fund. Admin. Tech:  viewed online tutorial over computer basics.

Reading we started with the question of the day.  We reviewed high-frequency words.  We recognized and blended the short vowel sound of /e/ea.  We read words with /e/ea and other known letter-sounds.  (2.1b,use short vowels)  We introduced spelling words with the short sound of ea.  We identified the setting of a story and analyzed setting elements.  (6.2,know literary elements/techniques)  We discussed the genre of tales and identified the setting.  We developed robust vocabulary through discussing a literature selection.  (3.1, expand vocabulary)

Math we added a one-digit number and a two-digit number with regrouping.  We did practice pages 239-240.  (2.2c,solve two-digit addition with regrouping.

1st hr. 4th Handwriting/Spelling- Standard 3.5 A-D, 3.6. Practiced writing Days of the Week. Pretest over the prefixes non, in, & re. Students wrote words 3 times each & in their agenda.

2nd hr. 1st P.E.- Cowboys & Indians, Toilet Tag.

3rd hr. 3rd P.E.- Basketball.

4th hr. 2nd P.E.- Soccer.

5th hr. Kdg. P.E.- Enjoyed this beautiful weather. We went outside.

6th hr. 4th P.E.- Basketball.

7th hr. 4th S.S.- Standard 5: 1-2. Handed out & went over Chapter 7 notes. Test will be tomorrow. Students did activities on Greta’s Games on their laptops.
