1st hr. 4th Handwriting/Spelling- Standard 3.6. Practiced the letter V,v. Discussed character quote- Courage. We went to the library.

2nd hr. !st P.E.- We Really Shine Program. PASS for the week. Standard 1: 1-2, 4. Standard 2: 1-4. Standard 3: 1-3. Standard 4: 1. Standard 5: 1, 3-4. Standard 6: 1-3. Standard 7: 1-4.

3rd hr. 3rd P.E.- We Really Shine Program. PASS for the week. Standard 1: 1, 5, 9-10. Standard 2: 1. Standard 3: 1-4. Standard 4: 1. Standard 5: 1-4. Standard 6: 1-3. Standard 7: 1-3.

4th hr. 2nd P.E.- Free time in the gym. PASS for the week. Standard 1: 1-2, 4. Standard 2: 1, 4, 11, 13. Standard 3: 1-2. Standard 4: 1. Standard 5: 1-4. Standard 6: 1-3. Standard 7: 1-3.

5th hr. Kdg. P.E.- Free time in the gym. PASS for the week. Standard 1: 1-2.  Standard 3: 1-2. Standard 4:

I took 4th to lunch @ 11:50. After lunch we went to the gym & had free time until the H.S. girls showed up. PASS for the week. Standard 1. Standard 2: 2-5. Standard 3: 3. Standard 4: 2-3. Standard 5: 1-3. Standard 6: 1-3. Standard 7: 1-3.

School let out @ 1:oo.


The children have enjoyed dressing up this week for our Red Ribbon Week.  Today was the last day for our Red Ribbon Week and the children were very excited about our class winning the prize for the best decorated door in our division.

We enjoyed getting to have music today before we went to the We Really Shine program.  We also completed  a worksheet that went along with some of the Nursery Rhymes we’ve been reading.

Children brought candy treats and shared them with their friends just before we released early today.


We started with the question of the day.  We took our comprehension test over “Click, Clack, Moo Cows That Type.”  We reviewed spelling words and took our test.  We went over compound words and did practice page 66.  In grammar we reviewed that names of days, months, and holidays are proper nouns.  Math we reviewed comparing the value of a mixed group of dollar bills and coins with a money amount.

2nd Hour – Fund. Admin.  Tech:  Began Lesson 9; Microsoft Word – Creating a Table

3rd Hour – Accounting I:    Reviewed the ch.4  test with students

4th Hour – Personal Financial Literacy: students completed/graded a check register; activity 4.1

5th Hour – Accounting II:  The students completed  a comparison of consumer prices for specific items and calculated the % of change.

6th Hour – Yearbook:  participation grades and reviewed school day pictures.

7th Hour – Fund. Admin. Tech:   Started Lesson 9 over creating tables in a Microsoft Word document.

Algebra 2:  After taking questions from lesson 7-1 we graded the lesson in class.

Geometry:  Finished lesson 6-3, and then I gave the students a worksheet as a supplement to the lesson.

Algebra 1:  I took questions on lesson 7-2.  We graded the lesson at the end of class.


1st hour Housing-

continued watching the movie “Oklahoma” analyzing the relationships that exist between  visual art and other disciplines of the arts such as drama, music, and dance. 3rd hour Foods students  – Lab Day Students made cookie dough

4th & 5th hour FACS 1 students matched sewing terms by playing sewing bingo.

6th hour FACS 2 students  evaluated interview situations

7th hour Family Living students completed word searches with decision making words

Tech – Worked on installing iweb on Joni Shaw’s laptop for the training this afternoon.  Would not install…. “We really shine program at 9:00…

4th Hour – The only student who still needed to present their imovies were the Pride students and they were being treated to a special day, so we worked on master key.  I gave them the last five minutes to change their backgrounds and screen savers.

5th Hour –  The last of this group presented their iMovie projects today.

6th Hour – Two student still needed to present this hour.  One was in “pride”, so she will present on Monday.

7th Hour –  One student finished presenting. Worked on paratyper and master key.  Allowed the students to change backgrounds on their laptops the last ten minutes of class.
